Community Lay Led Liturgy

Training Sessions for Community Lay Led Liturgies will begin in St. Joseph’s Secondary School, Spanish Point on Monday 25th September at 7.30 p.m. The Parish, of course, needs Volunteers for these Lay Led Liturgies and we encourage anyone who has gift and ability in this area of voluntary work to volunteer.

Personal Alarms

Grants are available for personal alarms and installation for persons aged 65 years and older through Pobal. The applicant is only responsible for payment of the annual monitoring charge. Please phone Family Carers Ireland Ennis 065 6866515. We will be delighted to answer your queries or concerns and apply for a Personal Alarm on your behalf.

Organist Required

Due to work commitments Siobhán will be unavailable to play the organ at 10am Mass in Moy Church every weekend from September. If anyone would like to volunteer their services would you please let the parish office know or contact Siobhán at 0860832257.

Young Peoples’ Church History

A history of the Catholic Church in Ireland in comic strip pictorial form has been published and is being recommended by our Bishop. It is being advertised as a suitable present for Christmas or for Confirmation for young people. A limited number is available in the parish office. Price €15.

THE ALZHEIMER SOCIETY CLARE BRANCH

The Alzheimer Society’s Dementia Specific Day Care Centre in Ennis, currently has client vacancies.  Accepts clients from all over Co Clare.  Meaningful activity programme tailored towards clients, interests, experiences and personalities.  Bus service available were possible.  Meals provided.  Cost 7 Euro per day.  For Daycare Services contact Linda Murphy 0879152151.  For Home Care Services contact  065 6868621.
